Terms of Service
Last updated [EFFECTIVE DATE] · Great Minds Create, Inc.
The short version. LullabyMail emails a parent one new bedtime story each evening, written around details that parent chose to give us. It is a service for adults. Your child never gets an account, never receives an email from us, and never uses the product — you read the story to them. Payments are handled by Paddle. You can cancel at any time.
1. Who we are, and who this service is for
LullabyMail is operated by Great Minds Create, Inc., a corporation organised under the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States (“we”, “us”, “our”).
| Legal entity | Great Minds Create, Inc., a New Jersey corporation |
|---|---|
| Registered address | [REGISTERED BUSINESS ADDRESS] |

| Company registration no. | [NJ ENTITY / EIN NUMBER] |
LullabyMail is a product for parents and other adult caregivers. It is not directed to children, and it is not designed for use by children. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to subscribe.
The service delivers a story to your email inbox. A child does not have a LullabyMail account, does not receive email from us, does not log in, and has no profile they can access. The intended use is that an adult reads the story aloud. Nothing in the product is designed to be handed to a child to operate.
2. What the service is
A LullabyMail subscription provides:
- One story per evening, generated fresh, and emailed to the address on your account at approximately the delivery time you selected in your preferences.
- A cover picture accompanying each story. This is a single header image, not illustrations throughout the story.
- A preferences page where you can change interests, reading age, guardrails, delivery time and timezone at any time. Changes apply to stories generated after you save them.
- Reply-to-rewrite. If a story is not right, you may reply to that story email and tell us what to change. We will regenerate that same evening's story and email you the new version. This is limited to one rewrite per customer per evening, and only applies to the current day's story — replying to an older email will not rewrite anything. The rewritten story replaces the original; we do not keep the earlier version.
- A story library of previously delivered stories, reachable from a link in your emails.
Stories are generated by AI
Stories and cover pictures are produced by third-party generative AI models from the preferences you supply. They are machine-generated and are not reviewed by a human before delivery. We apply automated safeguards and honour the “things to avoid” guardrails you set, but we cannot guarantee that every story will suit your child, match your taste, or be free of errors or oddities.
Please read a story before reading it aloud if that matters to you. If something arrives that you consider inappropriate, tell us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] — we want to know.
What we do not promise
We aim to deliver a story every evening, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free delivery. Email delivery depends on providers we do not control, and a message may be delayed, filtered as spam, or fail to arrive. A missed evening is not a breach of these terms; if delivery fails repeatedly, contact support and we will make it right, which may include extending your subscription.
3. Your account and your details
You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address on your account and for keeping access to that inbox secure. Story emails, preferences links and library links are sent to that address, and anyone with access to it can read them.
Preferences pages are reached through links we email you. Treat those links as private — anyone holding one can view and change that account's preferences. Do not post them publicly or forward them to people you would not want editing your settings.
4. Children's information
This section restates the position in §1 because it is the one that matters most.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Every piece of information in a LullabyMail account is typed in by the adult account holder. There is no route by which a child can create an account, submit information to us, or receive a communication from us.
To personalise a story we invite you — the parent — to optionally supply your child's age, the things they love, and things to avoid. All of it is optional; a subscription works without any of it. We ask you not to send us more about your child than a story needs. Please do not provide medical information, a school or address, a photograph, or any other sensitive detail. See our Privacy Policy for how what you do give us is handled.
If you believe a child has supplied us information directly, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we will delete it.
5. Payment, billing and renewal
Paddle is our Merchant of Record. Your purchase is a purchase from Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the authorised reseller of LullabyMail. Paddle handles the checkout, takes the payment, charges any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt. Your card statement will show Paddle, not Great Minds Create. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the transaction.
Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude sales tax and VAT, which Paddle calculates at checkout based on your location. The total you are charged will therefore be higher than the price advertised on our site. The checkout shows the final amount before you confirm.
Subscriptions renew automatically
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Each renewal extends your access by one further billing period.
Cancelling
You may cancel at any time, through the link in your Paddle receipt or by emailing [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not end the period you have already paid for. Stories continue until the end of that period, then stop. We do not pro-rate a partial period.
Price changes
We may change prices. An existing subscription keeps its price until we give you notice by email at least [NOTICE PERIOD, e.g. 30 days] before a renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first.
6. Gift subscriptions
A gift subscription is a one-year, one-time purchase. It does not auto-renew, and neither the giver nor the recipient is charged again.
| Term | One year of nightly stories. |
|---|---|
| When the year starts | On the day the recipient claims the gift — not the day it is bought. |
| Claim deadline | Two months from the date of purchase. The exact date is shown before purchase and printed in the giver's confirmation email. |
| Reminders | None are sent. See the warning below. |
| Renewal | None. The gift is a single non-recurring purchase. |
| Stacking | Allowed. A gift for someone who already has access extends their existing end date rather than replacing it. |
An unclaimed gift expires and is not refunded. We do not send claim reminders, so the giver is responsible for making sure the recipient knows the gift exists and claims it before the deadline. The deadline is shown on the gift page before you pay and in your confirmation email. If a gift goes unclaimed and you contact us before the deadline, we will help; after it has expired, see §7.
The recipient address a giver types is used only to address the invitation. The recipient confirms their own email when claiming, and that confirmed address is what receives the stories. A typo therefore cannot silently route a child's stories to a stranger — but it can mean the invitation never arrives, so check it.
7. Refunds
Refunds are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Request one through the link in your Paddle receipt, or email [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we will arrange it with Paddle.
- Within [REFUND WINDOW, e.g. 14 days] of a charge: full refund on request, for any reason.
- After that window: we do not routinely refund an elapsed period, but tell us what went wrong — if the service failed you, we will put it right.
- Gifts: refundable within the same window while unclaimed. Once a recipient has claimed a gift and stories are being delivered, it is no longer refundable.
- Delivery failures: if we did not deliver stories you paid for, you get a refund or an extension — your choice.
Nothing here removes any statutory refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer law of your country. Where those rights conflict with this section, they win.
8. Acceptable use
Stories are for the personal, family use of your household. Please do not:
- resell, republish or commercially redistribute stories or cover images;
- share your preferences links so people outside your household can use the subscription;
- use the preference fields to try to make the service generate sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise harmful content, or content about a real identifiable person without their consent;
- attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or probe its security.
We may suspend or terminate an account that does any of these. Where we terminate for a serious breach, we may do so without a refund.
9. Rights in stories and in what you tell us
Your stories are yours to use. We grant you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to read, print, keep and share within your family the stories and cover images delivered to you, for personal non-commercial purposes. Print them, bind them, read them at bedtime for years.
Because stories are machine-generated, their copyright status may vary by jurisdiction and we make no warranty about it. We do not claim ownership of the story text as against you.
What you tell us stays yours. You keep all rights in the preferences and details you enter. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service: to store that information and pass it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy so a story can be written for you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models — see Privacy Policy §5.
10. Changes to the service
We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you by email and you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
If we discontinue LullabyMail entirely, we will give you at least [WIND-DOWN NOTICE, e.g. 30 days] notice, refund the unused portion of any paid period, and give you a window to download your story library.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that stories will be accurate, suitable for any particular child, or free from content you would rather they had not contained.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop at any time by cancelling (§5). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if payment fails, or if we are required to by law. Unless the termination is for a serious breach by you, we will refund the unused portion of your current paid period.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of [COUNTY], New Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence, and mandatory consumer-protection laws of that country continue to apply to you.
Please email [SUPPORT EMAIL] before starting formal proceedings. Nearly everything is fixable that way.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will email the address on your account at least [NOTICE PERIOD, e.g. 30 days] before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
